In brief: Silverstone test day three

Rubens Barrichello joined the Honda Racing F1 Team at Silverstone today for the third and final day of this week’s test, taking over at the wheel of the RA108 car from Jenson Button. Rubens began the day with an installation run to ensure that he was comfortable with the set-up of the car and to get a feel for the grip levels around the circuit.

He then continued the aerodynamic programme which the team have been concentrating on this week, alongside running the Bridgestone tyre options for the British Grand Prix.

Rubens completed 94 laps over the course of the day.

Weather conditions in Silverstone were mild but very windy with an ambient temperature of 19°C.
