Barcelona testing: Day two is slow going for BAR

December 4 2002
The build up to 2003 is slow going for British American Racing, as long term test driver Anthony Davidson winds up last following a mid session spin.
Concentrating on electronics, software and sensors in the morning session, Davidson slipped behind reigning CART champion Cristiano da Matta. The afternoon was spent on tyre development work with Bridgestone.
Despite the apparent lack of pace, some pleasure can be had from the outstanding reliability so far.
Neither Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button are scheduled to attend this test.
