Takuma kicks off Silverstone test

Lucky Strike BAR Honda third driver Takuma Sato was on track today at Silverstone circuit, kicking off a mammoth three day test for the team.

Taku completed 110 laps in total - the most of any one driver on track - and set a best time of 1:22.332 seconds, nine tenths quicker than the fastest lap set at the circuit by Rubens Barrichello during last year's British Grand Prix.

Taku spent the day working on preparations for the forthcoming GP's as well as conducting some tyre work for Bridgestone.
