Lucky Strike BAR Honda top gun Jenson Button will be taking time out from his busy winter testing duties to officially open the world's greatest motorsport show - Autosport International.
Jenson, who earlier this month was voted as the British Competition Driver of the Year award by the readers of Autosport magazine, will be at the NEC in Birmingham to cut the ribbon at 9am on Saturday 10 January. He will also be at the show to launch the exciting new BAR Pure Racing fan club.
"I have been to Autosport International before and can see why so many fans like it," says Jenson. "There is a lot to see. I'll be coming up the day before testing kicks off again, so it'll be good to meet everyone and help the team start the year by giving something back to the fans. The 2004 season is going to be very interesting and the show is going to be a good way to get it started!"
To mark the occasion, BAR's high-tech F1 motorhome will be based within the NEC alongside one of the event's main features - a mock-up an F1 grid featuring a mouth-watering selection of current Grand Prix cars.
Book your tickets to see Jenson and the BAR F1 motorhome in advance by calling the ticket hotline on 0870 902 0444 or by booking on line at www.autosport-international.com. Adults and children can visit both the show and the British Eurosport Live Action Arena at a cost of £17 for children under the age of 16 and £24 for adults. Entry for the show only is £14 for adults and a special price for children at just £7.
