Takuma Sato, the rising star of Formula One, is looking forward to the French Grand Prix, hoping to continue the momentum that he gained from Indianapolis.
Sato could have challenged for the win had it not been for a pit strategy error, but that setback isn't worrying Takuma: "After having such a good race at Indy and achieving my first podium, I am really looking forward to the next Grand Prix.
"Magny Cours is a unique circuit, where the track surface is incredibly smooth and the temperatures can range from being extremely hot to quite cool, so it always produces an exciting race."
Vital performance and reliability testing took place last week, with the team concentrating on some new aerodynamic parts and tyre choice. "This week we have been testing in Jerez where it has been very hot indeed, but we are happy with the tyre programme that we have chosen for France," enthused Takuma.
"Magny Cours is Michelin's home grand prix, so I am looking forward to us performing strongly next weekend."
