Fog hampers Friday test

Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello continued the team's testing programme in Jerez yesterday for the final day of the Honda Racing F1 Team's three-day test. Unfortunately due to heavy fog at the circuit, both drivers could complete only installation laps in the morning session.

The circuit re-opened from 13:00hrs once the fog had lifted and the afternoon session proved far more productive for the team.

Rubens ran through a couple of set-up stints before commencing an intensive tyre evaluation. He completed 103 laps during the afternoon session, setting the second fastest time of the day – a 01:18.529. Jenson also ran through a tyre evaluation completing an impressive 120 laps in the afternoon session.
