Jenson Button has completed Honda Racing F1's Jerez test, ending the week second fastest overall, just 0.158s behind world champion Fernando Alonso's Renault, and full two seconds ahead of arch rivals Toyota.

Working on a tyre development programme for Michelin, Button was the sole Honda driver at Jerez as the team have packed up for next weeks Bahrain test, revealed exclusively here at RealHondaF1.com on Monday.

Completing a relatively trouble-free 118 laps of the Spanish circuit, Button once again proved the Honda RA106 was both fast, reliable and consistent.

The team now head to Bahrain for a three day test at the season opening circuit, alongside Ferrari and Scuderia Toro Rosso.
