Honda Racing F1 start Spanish test

Heavy rain prevented any running until 11:00 on the first morning of the Honda Racing F1 Team's test at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona today.

Once the rain had stopped, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello went out on extreme wet tyres in chassis RA106-02 and chassis RA106-06 respectively to complete a small number of laps in the morning session.

With the circuit completely dry for the afternoon session, Jenson ran through a chassis set-up programme completing a total of 102 laps.

Rubens ran through an aero evaluation followed by a tyre programme to finish the day, completing a total of 110 laps.
