Coulthard: Honda are aiming too high

Red Bull Racing's David Coulthard feels that Honda's relative lack of performance isn't as bad as it might appear, suggesting that the team were simply aiming too high.

"Honda is having troubled times," said David in Indianapolis. "In many ways, I think the team was promising before they had delivered anything. The team put too much expectation on themselves and the drivers, when they had not even won one race."

Coulthard, a close friend of Jenson Button, was supportive of the English driver, despite the poor run of results. "He is still solid, doing a good job," explained the Scot, "but you can only do the best with what you have got, and his car did not seem good."

Honda Racing F1 are introducing a number of aerodynamic and mechanical parts to the car for the next race in France, a result of their new wind tunnel.
