Exclusive Interview - Mike Rayer
By Craig Muncey
January 16 2016
Pleased to announce that the next interview completed on this website will be with Cardiff and Wales rugby player, Mike Rayer.
The player was a hero of mine in my late teens and is still the best full back I have seen grace The Arms Park, and I know from speaking to many of you on the various sites, you also hold the player in very high esteem.
The interview will be the same format as previous interviews, so I will ask you the fans to give me your questions either on the website, or Facebook or Twitter pages.
The best 15 questions will be selected by me, and then those questions will be put to the great man himself.
In terms of timescales for you to put your questions to me, I will not give you an "all dayer", but you have until the 31/1/16, to get your questions to me.
Make the most of this opportuntiy guys, I have wanted to interview Mike for a long time, so massive thanks to him to agreeing to the interview.

Soldier: This is the worst part. The calm before the battle
Fry: And then the battle is not so bad?
Soldier: Oh, right. I forgot about the battle
Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot
The thing I would be really interested in is why a player who had played at the top level has spent so long in a coaching back water of Bedford, who due to ground restrictions can never rise to the top level? I know there a lot to be said for quality of life, and certain amount of job security, also Bedford is a great place and a lovely old fashion ground to visit with a slop out of a mountain stage of the Tour de France, but with the frequent changes at most of the Welsh regions has he not been offered and tempted to test himself at a higher level.
