Cardiff Blues Victory Over Bristol

Fantastic victory for Cardiff Blues yesterday evening over Bristol RFC in the European Challenge Cup by a scoreline of 33 -20 including a bonus point.

Unfortunately due to work commitments I was unable to attend, but talking to others and reading reports a few names were mentioned as playing very well.

Gareth Anscombe won man of the match and by all accounts, controlled the game very well from number 10. Was an outstanding bit of vision to see the defence was up, and chip the ball over the top for the ever excellent Rey Leelo to get on the score sheet. Not many better centres around than Leelo currently playing on these shores in my view.

Also putting in strong performances were Alex Cuthbert (great to hear that) and Rhys Gill, who scrummaged strongly winning a few penalties.

All in all, a great away victory, 4 tries and great to have back playing Jarrad Hoeata, Kirby Myhill, Alex Cuthbert and Dillon Lewis after injuries. Bring on Pau next Friday, and I will be there for that one!
