The final day of testing at the Jerez Circuit in Spain got Finished today. French driver Franck Montangy and German driver Ralf Schumacher drove the first two days for the Toyota team but today it was Italian Jarno Trulli's turn with the driving duties.
Jarno's running was hindered and limited by an oil leak in the morning meaning he did not get much millage. He finished the day in sixth position out the eight drivers that took part with a best time of 1.20.377.
A Toyota powered car finished the day on top though. After Mclaren had dominated the the first two days of testing, it was Alex Wurz in the Williams-Toyota who ended day 3 on top. The Austrian set a best time of 1.19.962.
Robert Kubica was second in the BMW-Sauber just ahead of Pedro De La Rosa in the Mclaren, back in the driving seat for the first time since Tuesday. Rubens Barrichello uplifted the struggling Honda teams spirits by finishing in a good fourth place with a 1.20.250.
Swiss driver Sebastian Buemi is still in charge of injured German Michael Ammermuller's GP2 race and Red Bull Racing test driving commitments. Buemi finished the day in fifth place just maginally ahead of Jarno on a 1.20.318.
Heikki Kovalainen was seventh for Renault just ahead of Japanese driver Takuma Sato who rounded out the field in 8th place for Super Aguri wuth a best time of 1.20.828.
