| Panis unhurt after crash | |
| For Toyota F1 driver Olivier Panis
his recent test at Barcelona would come to an abrupt end when he was to
crash heavily and was taken to hospital for checks. His car crashed
backwards into the barrier at Turn three. Olivier was able to get out of his car after it crashed backwards into the tyre barrier. It was not known what caused him to lose control of the car and leave the track. After been taken to the circuits medical centre Olivier was flown to the Hospital of Catalunya for checks after complaining of blurry vision. A team spokesman said:
"He's walking and talking fine but he's been taken to a nearby hospital for
precautionary tests. |
