Ricardo Zonta went fastest in a wet tyre test at Jerez yesterday. Toyota's Brazilian tester completed 119 laps and went fastest with a time of 1m29.332s. Zonta went fastest by just over 7-tenths ahead of Englishman Jenson Button, who within his 99 laps set a fastest of 1m30.057s.
Ricardo was out most of the day, while Jenson came out at midday as his BAR-Honda mechanics worked fixing a problem on his car.
Now this may sound like some exciting news, but here's the not-so-good news. Jenson was the only other driver in action on Saturday.
Wet testing will be on the cards tomorrow at Jerez, Spain.
