Spain: Toyota's 1st and 4th in Qualifying one

Jarno Trulli has taken Toyota's first ever Provisional Pole position for tomorrows Spanish Grand Prix. But with the top 9 covered by under a second, it's still all to play for in tomorrows all-important Qualifying Two.

Since the fourth and final Practice session of the weekend, the boys in red and white have never looked back as their car sits provisionally on the front of the grid. After a stunning lap by Ralf Schumacher which almost set provisional pole itself, Jarno Trulli was able to go 0.075 seconds faster than his German team-mate to snatch provisional pole with only home boy Fernando Alonso left to run. But, it was Jarno's day and he heads into tomorrows qualifying with the smallest of gaps, as 0.016 seconds behind is Fernando’s Renault. Kimi Raikkonen's McLaren ran wide at the first sequence of corners, but still managed to set the third fastest time, his silver arrow is 0.024 seconds behind Trulli's Toyota.

With the gaps so small between the cars, on a track, which is 4.627 km in length, tomorrow will see every car-putting pedal to the metal during the final and all important qualifying two.
