Off the hook with just a slap on the wrist

Max Mosely has ruled out the possiblility of Toyota losing the points they scored prior to, and including the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola.

The scare popped it's ugly head when F1 Racing published that Toyota had not obtained the correct paperwork for their superlicence - one of the documents which enables you to race in F1.
Mr Mosely, president of the sport's governing body the FIA, has ruled out the possibility of a penalty claiming it was a mere technical oversight.
“There won’t be any penalties for Toyota, even though until the Spanish Grand Prix they raced without the licences required by the FIA,” he told the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I think it was a mistake, with no real cheating involved.”
