In the first half of the year, we had our doubts in Ralf. He's had more experience of steering a car to the podium that team-mate Trulli, however, Trulli was regularly outperforming the German.
Ralf told his website how he knew the TF105, a car which he has had to adapt his driving style to keep on track, was going to be quick from the first practice lap.

"We were in the top five all the time," the Ralf told the site, "so I had a feeling it might turn out right."
Things came good for Ralf in Hungary after a long wait, he finally scored his first podium for the Panasonic backed team, beating his Italian team mate to the line by 18 seconds as Jarno was struggling to drive his car with a broken diffuser and rear endplate, after a coming together with Ferrari's Barrichello on the first lap.
The Formula One circus will return to action in Turkey on 21st August, after a 3 week break, in which lies a testing ban. Ralf continued on his website to pay tribute to his Cologne-based team. "They really deserve a few days with their families. Some very hard and hectic weeks lie behind us now." | |
