Belgium: Grand Prix dead in the water?

Reports from many leading websites state that the Belgium Grand Prix might not go ahead if conditions are as bad as they were on Friday afternoon. This comes after none of the teams completed a flying lap during the second Practice Session of the day, which was completely washed out.
So the world of Formula One could be looking at the second ‘cancelled’ race of the year, largely forwarded by Michelin and Bridgestone who fear their tyres will not be suited to the monsoon like conditions. Michelin boss Pierre Dupasquier stated; "The tyres could not handle this amount of water.” Whilst Bridgestone also feared they tyres would not be up for the job; “It is difficult to tell you how difficult it is driving in these conditions," said Michael Schumacher.
To make things worse, the weather isn't expected to improve with the highest chance of rain on Sunday (race day).
