British Superbikes: Chris Walker has been given the chance to make amends after leaving Crescent Suzuki in 2000 to take a GP ride - foregoing Suzuki’s offer of a WSB partnership in 2001. Chris will make his début Rizla appearance at this weekend’s Race of the Year, being held at Mallory Park.
Chris will undertake getting to know the bike and the circuit, after his long absence away from the British Superbike series, this coming Friday, in preparation for the races on Sunday.
Providing Chris gels with the GSX-R1000 bike and the team, it is looking like he will make his long awaited return to the British Superbike series in 2007, aboard the Rizla Suzuki.
This would certainly make for a fantastic season if Chris was to obtain a seat at Rizla, alongside newly signed Cal Crutchlow - the present British 600 Supersport 2006 Champion.
Chris said, “I have unfinished business in the British Superbike series, and I want more than anything to win a title for Suzuki.”
