John Jameson: “Part of the long term strategy for PR Racing has always been to enter the BSB Championship. Over the last couple of years we have been working tirelessly in developing the bike, and a team that could take us forward.

2006 saw a lot of development on the bike (Honda CBR1000RR) as well as the team’s infrastructure. This resulted in one of our most successful years in racing, with over 18 podium finishes and being crowned the 2006 BSB Privateer champions.

Having a rider of Sean’s calibre for 2007 means PR Racing will be a serious contender in the championship. We are not under any illusions; we know it will be a challenging year ahead as we step up to the main championship. With the knowledge and skill Sean brings to the team, we know we have the right formula to be competitive.”

Sean Emmett: “I am looking forward to getting back on the BSB grid and helping the team with their development and future plans. I have had several meetings this week with the management at PR, which included a visit to their headquarters and workshop in Liverpool, and I was impressed with their set-up and professionalism. The team feels right!

“I would like to thank John, Julian (Mosquera) and the other guys at PR for giving me the chance to prove that I am still capable of running with the best that BSB has to offer, as well as getting a chance to do a job I feel so passionate about.”

PR Branson Honda Racing will be testing at various tracks in the UK, as well as in Spain, in preparation of what we are sure will be a very exciting season. To follow the progress of PR Racing with Sean Emmett during 2007, visit www.pr-racing.co.uk
