TCG Motorsport are pleased to announce the arrival of rider Stewart Willetts into the team for the rest of the 2005 championship season.

Better known to most in the paddock as “Rugrat”, Willetts has ridden with the team’s support in three of the six BMCRC (Bemsee) Nationwide Championship meetings so far this year, and is now confirmed to be riding with TCG for the remainder of this season.

Willetts brings a wealth of experience to the team, having started his racing career on a Yamaha R6 - on which he completed his rookie year before moving into the highly competitive Minitwins series for 2004. This year he is competing in the Forza Extreme class and Clubman 600-1000 Shootout races riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000, on which his lightning starts have become legendary and his results so far see him looking set for a top ten finish in the championship, despite not having attended all the rounds.

TCG team-mate Tom Gazzard, in his first year of racing, will benefit greatly from the knowledge and experience that Willetts brings to the team. His enthusiasm and commitment showed through during the recent Bemsee round at Pembrey, where both riders overcame difficulties to make tremendous improvements as the weekend went on.

This new team now has the final three rounds of the Bemsee series to confirm the potential it has shown so far, with Gazzard having led his championship from the start and Willetts looking for more silverware to sit alongside his third place trophy from Cadwell Park. One thing, however, is certain - both riders can count on 100% support from the TCG Motorsport Team.
