British Supermoto Championships Limited, the organisers of the 2005 British Supermoto Championships, are pleased to announce that agreement has been reached between the ACU and the AMCA to back the Official British Championship during 2006.

Subject to suitable dates and venues being arranged, the 2006 British Supermoto Championships will be held over a minimum of six rounds and a maximum of ten rounds.

The Championships will again be for SM1 and SM2 classes. In addition, the SM4 class for younger competitors will be catered for at all meetings.

Negotiations are nearing completion for the announcement of the 2006 Championship title sponsor. Further details will be announced later.
