This year’s Isle of Man TT promises to be one of the best and most competitive yet. The entry list is impressive, with former World Champions, eleven previous TT winners, and top riders from British Superbike, AMA Superbike, and Irish Road Racing all committed to taking part in this year’s event.
Dubliner Martin Finnegan, will be in action for World Superbike Team Klaffi Honda in the Superbike, Supersport and Superstock races, supported by Alpha Boilers. Martin is the second fastest rider in the entry, and one of the pre-event favourites for race wins in 2006.
In their third year at the TT, the 2001 World Sidecar Champions Klaus Klaffenböck and Christian Parzer will strive for a first podium finish on their prototype LCR Honda F2 machine.
Speaking about the 2006 TT Martin Finnegan said:
“It is great to have Alpha Boilers on board for the 2006 TT. As you can see from the recent Press Launch, this is a race that is going places, and there are improvements being made right the way through the event. It is great to be a part of that, and to have a team like Klaffi Honda behind me, and a sponsor like Alpha Boilers, gives me great confidence that I can be successful at this year’s event.”
Team owner and Sidecar driver Klaus Klaffenböck added:
“I am delighted to welcome Alpha Boilers into our team. I am sure that this is the start of a fruitful partnership, and that together we can enjoy a lot of success at the Isle of Man TT. It looks like being one of the best TTs ever this year, and on a personal note, I am delighted to be able to play a big part in the event, with a strong presence in all solo classes with Martin Finnegan and in the sidecars myself.”
