Motor Racing Archive

Aintree, Blandford, Catterick, Davidstow, Fersfield, Linton-on-Ouse, Longridge, Ouston and Thornaby: these and many other circuits have been lost to the sport of motor racing. Critically, so has much of the history of the sport, and we are still in danger of losing more.
The Motor Racing Archive is leading the campaign to stop this loss, and to ensure that future generations will have full and easy access to information, both about the sport and the industry which the sport supports.
Thanks to the generosity of people within the sport, and members of the public, material which might have been lost is now being preserved and put to good use.
However, the Archive also needs your help with its running costs and future development, as it receives no form of funding. In taking out an annual membership of the Patrons Club, you will help ensure the continued preservation of the Archive collection, and of our being able to more fully develop the Archive into a national role.
An ordinary annual membership donation is just £25.00, but of course you can donate a higher amount should you so desire. We are open for discussion with any individual or company wishing to sponsor our work at a higher level. We have your commitment with the donation of material; now we need your support to take the Archive to the next level.
For those of you whose membership has lapsed, we would welcome your continued support through 2006. Cheques for membership donations should be made payable to the Motor Racing Archive Patrons Club, and be posted to the Club at Saham Road, Watton, Norfolk, IP25 6EA. If you would like to pay by standing order, please e-mail us and we will provide details of our bank account. There will shortly be a button added to our website to make donations and membership payments easier.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Club.
