With injured Steve Plater out of the British Superbike series for the next round, taking place at the Snetterton track in Norfolk, this weekend JJL Racing will be fielding rider Sean Emmett - who went to America some weeks ago to gain a ride in the AMA series - as a temporary replacement for Steve.

Sean said, “I’ve just got back from America, for the Road America round at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, for the AMA series. Find out how I got on by clicking the ‘My trip to America’ button at my website, which is www.seanemmett.co.uk.

“When I was in America, JJL Racing Team rung me, explaining about Steve Plater’s injuries forcing him to be unable to ride at Snetterton, and maybe Knockhill, and if I would be interested in riding for them while Steve is recovering. So I am looking forward to be racing again this weekend at Snetterton, one of my favourite tracks, on the JJL Honda. So see you there!”

It will be good to see Sean back in this country racing again at one of his favourite tracks. Good luck Sean.
