Round up from the weekend after a great weekend in Europe for the Welsh regions. For details of Llanelli and Newport Gwent Dragons read on.

At Stradey Park on Friday night Llanelli carried on their great tradition in the European cup by defeating the defending champions Munster.

Llanelli who can now claim to be the best team not to won the European cup after the penalty off the crossbar against Leicester, the last minute pen vs Northampton and the deflected drop goal against Gloucester.

Will it now finally be their year? They play Leicester at the Walkers Stadium in the semi, with another all English semi between Wasps and Northampton.

Not the 4 most people would have predicted.

Scarlets 24 (17)
Tries: James, G Thomas, B Davies.
Cons: S Jones 3.
Pens: B Davies.

Munster 15 (0)
Tries: Dowling, Ryan.
Cons: O'Gara.
Pens: O'Gara.

And on Saturday afternoon the bravest team I've seen in quite some time continued to upset the apple cart by defeating Brive at Del Boy Parade.

Everyone would love to see the underdogs go out and defeat moneybags Clermont but the odds are against them but haven't they always been.

Dragons 39 (24)
Tries: Morgan 2, Black, Penalty try, Ringer, A Brew.
Cons: Sweeney 3.
Pens: Sweeney.

Brive 17 (7)
Tries: Boleavucu, Hufanga 2.
Cons: Orquera.
