The State of Play's resident poet and messageboard Exile has written a piece about the man of the moment Gavin Henson, enjoy and Merry Christmas.

Some say that it's racist,
some say it's a plot,
coz they know that the centre
is Wales' weakest spot.

Some say "look at Moody"
and "Dayglo, he walked free,
so the ban they gave to Henson,
is so unjust, you see?"

"ten weeks for an elbow,
and this his first offence,
That prop was going for him mun,
Gav acted in defence"

Few said he was innocent,
and most they do agree,
that 2 to 4 weeks would be fine
and that seems just to me.

but the papers and the telly,
them, they wanted more,
clever angles and good editing,
to cause a great uproar.

and those who wear the blazers
that Gav, he had upset,
wanted retribution,
for payment of this debt

So he never had a chance
when his case was heard,
and they handed out a sentence
which I think just absurd.

And what this really shows us
is the ERC's a farse
and they're a bunch of w****rs
who can kiss my hairy a**e.
