Young Duo in for Wales

WALES certainly aren't facing a battle for hearts and minds in Patagonia, but a young team faces a battle for credibility over conditioning.

In his first match since his appointment barely two months ago, Gareth Jenkins is poised to name something a scratch side, with young duo Alun Wyn Jones and Ian Evans handed debuts, Jones being prefered as a bulkier option at blindside.

Whilst crawling out of the international wilderness, Gavin Thomas who Jenkins clearly rated highly by Jenkins at the Scarlets, is likely to be choosen over Robin Sowden-Taylor.

The Western Mail is predicting that nine of the players that finished against France in the Six Nations will start, with Matthew Rees prefered at hooker.

Wales Probable;

Bryne, M Jones, J Robinson, M Watkins, S Williams, N Robinson, Phillips, D Jones, M Rees, A Jones, I Gough, I Evans, AW Jones, G Thomas, A Popham
