Stars To Turn Out For O'Rourke

Hibs have had many a legend in their time, this weekend sees a host of top stars turn out to Honour a true great in Jimmy O'Rourke.

Stars from the past and the present are to run out for a tribute night for Hibs hero Jimmy O'Rourke this weekend. Current Scotland U21 Captain Ian Murray along with former greats such as Lawrie Reilly and Pat Stanton will gather with Gordon Strachan and Welsh star Garry Speed will attend the do. Current Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson will miss the bash at Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sunday, which is a 460-ticket sell-out due to a previous work commitment. Pat Stanton himself a Hibs legend said Stanton, a team-mate and school chum of O'Rourke's, said: "In terms of really dyed-in-the-wool Hibs supporters you don't get many greater than Jimmy. "In the fans' eyes he was quite a special player. He certainly deserves this and it is great to see all these people turn out for him."
