Alfreton Town vs. Leigh RMI preview

After Tuesday's scheduled game with Blyth was called off because of a frozen pitch, RMI are back in action with a trip to Alfreton on Saturday.

RMI boss Stuart Humphreys will be keen to reinstill some confidence in his side after last weekend's disappointing home defeat to Stalybridge brought his side back down to earth with a bump after the valiant performance at Stevenage the previous weekend.

However, he will have to contend with the loss of veteran centre half Mark Maddox, who is suspended for the game after being sent off in the FA Trophy defeat at Stevenage, though the likes of Gavin Lee-Ellison, Hugh McAuley and Mark Jackson are in line for a return to the side after missing the Stalybridge defeat.

Hosts Alfreton will be out for revenge after they were completely outclassed in a 2-0 defeat at Hilton Park in September, and they go in to the game in bouyant mood after winning 1-0 at Scarborough last Saturday and they are boosted with the return from suspension of Emeka Nwadike, though Alfreton boss Gary Mills will be without Marcus Ebdon, who is sitting out the second game of a three match ban.
