Boston United vs. Leigh RMI preview

Saturday afternoon sees Steve Bleasdale's revamped RMI side look to haul themselves from the foot of the Blue Square North table when they make the lengthy trip to Lincolnshire to face mid-table Boston United, a Football League outfit until a 'double' relegation at the end of last season.

The Pilgrims found themselves returning their non-league roots when, after finishing in the League Two relegation places on the final day of the 2006/07 season, they were relegated a further division because of financial irregularities.

RMI last visited York Street in November 2001 when 1,940 saw a Michael Twiss goal failing to prevent eventual champions Boston winning 2-1, while the Railwaymen defied the sending off of Andy Heald to recover a two goal deficit and claim a point from a 2-2 draw at Hilton Park last November.

New Years' Day saw RMI return home from Workington empty-handed after conceding a last gasp winning goal, while Boston ran out comfortable 3-1 victors at local rivals Gainsborough Trinity to lift themselves in to eleventh position.

Any fans that are travelling to the fixture are reminded that York Street is a segregated section and as such RMI fans are to enter the ground at the Town End.
