Leigh RMI vs. Redditch United preview

Redditch United make the trip to Hilton Park on Saturday afternoon to face an RMI side desperate to make up for last weekend's embarrassing 5-1 defeat at Boston United, with the Worcestershire outfit still looking over their shoulders towards the relegation zone, despite currently occupying fourteenth place in the Blue Square North table.

While Steve Bleasdale's outfit were being humiliated by rampant Boston at York Street last Saturday, Redditch defeated Vauxhall Motors 2-0 to give themselves a seven point cushion from the dreaded drop zone, something that they haven't enjoyed on too many occasions in recent years as they join RMI in an almost annual relegation battle.

The honours were even when the sides met earlier in the season, with a Scott Willis opener being cancelled out by the hosts to ensure a 1-1 draw at the Valley Stadium, while last season's encounter at Hilton Park ended in a 0-0 draw that was the first game of Stuart Humphreys' reign as RMI boss.

Kick off is at 3pm at Hilton Park on Saturday.
