Another new signing!

Following hot on the heels of the signings of Matt Lawlor and David Prout, Leigh RMI have confirmed the signing of young Northwich Victoria striker Cayne Hanley on a loan deal until the end of the current season.

Nineteen year old striker Hanley started his career with Burnley, spending a period on loan in late 2006 with Kidderminster Harriers and later with Hyde United, before a season with FC United of Manchester paved the way for a move to the Blue Square Premier with Northwich Victoria, where he has made seven league appearances since January.

Like recent signing David Prout, Hanley is in line to make his Leigh debut in tomorrow afternoon's visit to fellow basement battlers Hucknall Town.
