FA Trophy venue confirmed

It has been confirmed that, with the continued unavailability of Hilton Park and the new Leigh Sports Village stadium, Leigh Genesis' upcoming FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round tie with UniBond Premier League rivals Cammell Laird will take place at Victory Park in Chorley.

It is again greatly appreciated that Chorley FC have helped the club to find a venue, with the FA Trophy tie representing the second Genesis game in a week that will take at Victory Park, with the game with Cammell Laird being preceded by a league fixture with Marine this coming Tuesday (28th October, 7:45pm).

The Cammell Laird fixture will take place on Saturday 1st November with a 3pm kick off.

Unlike most other cup fixtures, there has actually been a reduction in admission prices for this fixture in order to reward the club's for their loyal support. Adults will cost just £6 (£2 than league fixtures) while concessions are just £3 (£2 cheaper than league fixtures), with season ticket holders being reminded that their season cards are unfortunately invalid for this fixture; FA rules meaning that all supporters have to pay the appropriate admission price.

It's hardly an ideal situation, but at least Chorley have helped us out again and we've avoided the worst-case scenario of switching the tie to Lairds.

Beltin £3 to watch fa trophy football will there be a coach running for games at chorley or are we all in cars?

Should be ok in the cars, I reckon? Bit short notice to get another bus sorted.
