The "non-league family" is a term that is often used to describe supporters of clubs at this level and, with Leigh's current nomadic existence and their financial position being well-publicised in recent weeks, we've found this to be more true than ever.
The first presentation saw the Leigh Genesis Supporters Association receive a "Keep the Faith" message from their counterparts at Cammell Laird (pictured below), with a framed certificate being presented to LGSA chairman Tony Marshall, secretary Matt Lawton and several LGSA members from their Wirral visitors to Victory Park following the FA Trophy tie between the sides last weekend.
With yesterday's 'home' game with North Ferriby United taking place at Hurst Cross, the home of Ashton United, LGSA were also delighted to receive an Ashton United pennant courtesy of the Ashton United Supporters Club. Pictured below are LGSA secretary Matt Lawton and LGSA member Samantha Clark receiving the pennant at half-time in yesterday's game.
The support of both clubs is hugely appreciated at this time and has provided us with a massive boost of confidence to know that we have friends throughout the UniBond Premier League and beyond.

Andy likes it, apparently, but Nick has already said that slash stops are more than welcome. Just make sure we don't have another Worksop incident where we miss out on prime birdage because you can't hold your bladder!
