The waiting game over for Genesis!

Leigh Genesis have been handed a double boost as the UniBond Premier League season heads in to the final straight with the appointment of former Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers captain Garry Flitcroft as first team manager, whilst also finally manage to secure a deal to resume playing at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium.
Bolton-born Flitcroft was at Stainton Park on Saturday to witness Leigh's spirited performance in a 4-2 defeat to Guiseley, and will take control of the first team with immediate effect.
His professional playing career spanned fifteen years and most notably included successful spells with Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United, whilst also representing England Under 21's.
Flitcroft, who's brother David is assistant manager at League Two promotion chasers Rochdale, will be assisted by his former Manchester City team mate Mike Quigley, with the pair taking charge for the first time in a UniBond Premier League fixture away to Frickley Athletic tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.
Flitcroft and Quigley are looking to work closely with Leigh's existing management Lee Merricks and Lee Doherty with a view to building and developing the squad for what they hope to be an exciting and positive end to the UniBond Premier League season.
A press conference will be held tomorrow afternoon to outline the full details of the appointment, along with the end of Leigh's exile from the town, which will end when Cammell Laird are the visitors to the Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Tuesday 31st March (7:45pm kick off).

Just to clear two things up though...
1. Do we have the stadium till the end of this season or till the end of this season and for next season??
2. Have these "investors" actually taken over the club now?

Bondy - I get the impression that it's ours until the end of the season and then re-negotiate in the summer to see how things have gone, but could be wrong.
And, no, there hasn't been any chance to the infrastructure of the club.
