Powerful striker Neil Zarak joined Leigh Genesis from Bamber Bridge on registration deadline day on 26th March 2009, making his Leigh debut in the 2-1 win over Cammell Laird at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium on 31st March 2009.

Standing at six foot four, Zarak is a natural target man but also deceptively skillful with the ball at his feet, having served out a scholarship in the United States before joining Bamber Bridge.
