Early season fixture amendments

As was widely predicted when the UniBond Premier League fixtures were released last month, the encounters against Curzon Ashton have now been ‘switched’ in order to avoid a clash with the Leigh Centurions vs. Halifax rugby league game that is to take place at the Leigh Sports Village on Wednesday 19th August.

Instead of Genesis hosting Curzon that night, they will instead travel to the Tameside Stadium on Monday 17th August, with a 7:45pm kick off. The return fixture will now take place at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Saturday 16th January 2010.

• Leigh Genesis' final pre-season game of the summer sees them take on neighbours Wigan Athletic at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Tuesday 11th August at 7:45pm. Tickets for this fixture are on sale now from the Leigh Sports Village Stadium Ticket Office, priced at £6 for adults, £4 for over 65's and full-time students, £2 for under 18's and £1 for junior members.
