Leigh Genesis' reward for their thumping 3-0 victory over neighbours Ashton Athletic in the Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Trophy is a Quarter Final tie away to Vodkat (North West Counties) Premier Division side Colne.

The draw took place at Lancashire FA headquarters in Leyland during the half-time period of the Bolton Wanderers Reserves vs. Burnley Reserves fixture on Monday evening and was conducted by LFA chairman Frank Parr and Burnley manager Owen Coyle.

While Genesis were 3-0 victors over Ashton Athletic, Colne, in eighteenth position in the Vodkat League Premier Division, ran out thrilling 4-3 winners over divisional rivals and neighbours Padiham at Colne's Holt House Stadium.

The perfect draw for us, away tie and against the only lower league side left in it. Glad one of Barrow and Southport will be out as well.

I should prepare for a few postponements, Colnes pitch isnt the best, especially at that time of year.

Looks very suspect, I agree Nick!

Postponement was my first thought as well Paul, but plenty of time to fit it in.
