Bamber Bridge game goes ahead

Despite freezing temperatures last night, Leigh Genesis' UniBond League First Division North fixture away to Bamber Bridge will go ahead as planned this evening (Tuesday 1st December).
Bamber Bridge officials are confident that the QED Stadium pitch can withstand the recent cold snap and the game will go ahead as planned with a 7.45pm kick off.
Admission costs £7 for adults, £4 for OAP's and students, while under 16's are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a full paying adult.
The ground is situated close to the A6 London Way in the Bamber Bridge area of Preston, reached via junction 29 on the M6 and the M65.
