Colne game postponed

Tuesday (12th January) evening's Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Trophy Quarter Final tie away to Colne has been postponed due to the continuing bad weather.

Originally scheduled for last Tuesday, the game has been postponed for the second time in a week because of the current poor weather conditions at Colne's Holt House Stadium.

The game will now take place next Tuesday (19th January) with a 7.45pm kick off.

Weather permitting, Leigh's next fixture is a league game against promotion rivals Curzon Ashton this Saturday (16th January) with a 3pm kick off at Ashton United's Hurst Cross ground.

Think we might be making an attempt to beat the postponement record from the Colls game last year.
