Open meeting to discuss LGFC future

Leigh East ARLFC, based on Ledgard Avenue as part of the Leigh Sports Village development, are very kindly hosting an open meeting this Thursday (4th February) at 7.30pm to discuss the future of Leigh Genesis FC following the withdrawal of the club's main sponsor.

The people of Leigh and all past, present or future fans of the club are invited to attend the meeting to share ideas and discuss ways in which all parties can pull together and ensure the survival of the town's senior football club, despite it's current problems.

The club's board of directors will be present to answer any questions or concerns, with the meeting beginning at 7.30pm in Leigh East's new clubhouse facility on Ledgard Avenue; take your first left when entering the LSV from Atherleigh Way. There is a small amount of parking available adjacent to the clubhouse, with further parking available if taking your second left when entering the development on the overflow car park.
