Skem game goes ahead

The UniBond League First Division One North encounter between Leigh Genesis and Skelmersdale United will go ahead as planned tonight (Wednesday 24th February) with a 7.45pm kick off.

Due to the unavailability of the Leigh Sports Village Stadium due to a Blackburn Rovers Reserves fixture, tonight's game will once again be played at Chorley's Victory Park, which hosted last Wednesday's thrilling 4-3 victory over Rossendale United.

There was a flurry of snow in the area on Tuesday afternoon, but overnight temperatures remained above freezing and as such no pitch inspection is planned ahead of this vital fixture at the top of the table.

Kick off is at 7.45pm, with admission costing £8 for adults, £5 for OAP's/students and just £2 for under 18's, with Leigh Genesis season tickets valid for use as normal.

it sure did, just hope the lads play like they did against Wakey and finish there chances, Janny is in fine form and the midfield is getting better
