Leigh Genesis have confirmed the first of their scheduled pre-season friendly matches with a summer visit to relegated Rossendale United.
Rossendale find themselves beginning life in the VodKat North West Counties League Premier Division next season following their relegation from the UniBond League Division One North in April.
Leigh's last visit to Dark Lane came on the opening day of last season when goals from Steven Flitcroft, Chris Baguley and Jordan Stepien secured a 3-1 victory, with Leigh winning a thrilling return fixture 4-3 later in the season.
The pre-season friendly fixture will take place at Rossendale's Dark Lane home on Saturday 31st July with a 3pm kick off.
