Pre-season changes

Please note that due to ongoing building work at their Keighley Road home, Saturday's friendly fixture away to North West Counties Premier Division side Silsden will now take place at Crosshills FC's Holmes Lane ground.

The fixture will kick off as previously planned at 3pm, with the ground situated in the Crosshills area of Keighley (postcode BD20 8BN).

The club have also confirmed that the planned pre-season fixture away to Squires Gate on Tuesday 3rd August has now been cancelled because of the unavailability of their School Road ground.

There has also been a change in the Anglo-Welsh friendly fixture against Cefn Druids, originally planned for Saturday 7th August. This game will now take place on Tuesday 3rd August at Druids' Plaskynaston home with a 6.45pm kick off. Please take note of the earlier kick off time due to problems with the ground's floodlights.

Leigh Genesis full pre-season schedule;
Saturday 24th July; Silsden (Crosshills FC, 3pm)
Tuesday 27th July; Newton (away, 7pm)
Saturday 31st July; Vauxhall Motors (away, 3pm)
Tuesday 3rd August; Cefn Druids (away, 6.45pm)
Saturday 14th August; Ossett Town (away, 3pm)

Think this can go down as one of the most complicated summer schedule's of all-time! Will be struggling for extra games now as well.

Been on Tony Kempsters site and one bloke was wishing us good luck in finding the ground. I think ive got it sussed.Just ask Paul about my directions through those woods getting to Rossendale last season.(Sm6)
