Leigh Genesis have confirmed their new shirt sponsor for the upcoming season as a result of a partnership with LAW Training Agency.
LAW Training Agency will feature on the club's home and away shirts this season in a sponsorship that will see the two working together to strengthen the Club with a new under 18 Youth Academy.
The scheme looks to take care of young players recently released from professional football clubs and offer them full-time coaching to maintain their footballing abilities whilst also providing training for opportunities both inside and out of the game.
The one-year deal with an optional extension on both parties for future seasons will see Genesis, LAW forming a partnership to develop opportunities for the scheme's best youngsters to break into the first team squad. With such a strong and ever-increasing junior section it will also be an avenue that the club will be promoting to its own members.
Lawrence Langdon of LAW Training commented, "I am delighted that we have come to an agreement with Leigh Genesis to bring a Youth Academy set up to the club; we have been impressed with their professionalism and eagerness to drive the club forward which has clearly been difficult for the board over recent years. We are certain that this partnership can only enhance the standing of the club and benefit both the Junior and Senior elements".
Chairman Alan Leach who, along with Secretary Mary Croasdale, has secured the deal said "The approach from LAW was one that interested me from the start, I could see many positives for the club and am looking forward to seeing a strong Youth team representing us".
Details of the new Leigh Genesis Youth along with all other Senior and Junior fixtures will be published on the www.leighgenesis.com as they are issued
Supporters that have already pre-ordered replica shirts will have the new sponsor's logo on their shirts once these are received from the club's shirt supplier. Replica shirts are still available to purchase via the club's online store here.
