Leigh Genesis complete their pre-season programme on Saturday afternoon when they travel over the Pennines to take on Evo-Stik Premier League side Ossett Town at their Ingfield home.
After coming almightily close to mounting an incredible comeback in Monday night's 3-2 defeat to league rivals Trafford, Leigh travel to West Yorkshire to take on an Ossett Town side that finished in nineteenth position in last season's UniBond Premier League, since renamed the Evo-Stik Premier League in accordance with the league's new sponsorship deal.
It's Leigh's first visit to Ingfield since 25th August 2008 when a goal in each half from Darren Mansaram and Bradley Maylett gave Genesis a 2-0 league victory.
Town have enjoyed a successful pre-season, their one friendly defeat coming against a re-formed Farsley side, whilst most recently running out 4-1 victors away to Harrogate Railway Athletic, Leigh's Evo-Stik Division One North rivals, last weekend.
The ground is situated close to the A638, opposite Ossett bus station, reached from junction 40 of the M1 and is Leigh's final pre-season friendly of the summer before Curzon Ashton are the first visitors to Crilly Park for an Evo-Stik League Division One North fixture next Saturday (21st August, 3pm).
Kick off at Ossett on Saturday is at 3pm, with admission costing £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions (students, over 65's and under 16's).

Mick, you need a train trip, you know you do!!Real Ale Bar on Dewsbury station then bus to Ossett, ground opposite bus station, couldn't be more convenient!!
Thats a very tempting proposition Paul, are you going by train ? If so give me the details. Going to take it easy on the pop after last weeks Barrow V Bolton match. Still recovering from a bout of gravel rash.
