Witton fixture switch confirmed

Leigh Genesis have confirmed a change in their Evo-Stik League Division One North fixture list for the coming season with the home and away fixtures against Witton Albion being switched with each other.

Witton were originally due to visit Crilly Park on Saturday 18th September, but FA rules decree that Atherton LR's FA Vase tie with league rivals Ashton Athletic takes precedent on that day ahead of any league fixtures.

As such, Genesis will now visit Witton's Wincham Park home on that day, with the return fixture taking place at Crilly Park on Saturday 19th February 2011, with Atherton LR's home Vodkat Premier League game against Ramsbottom United being moved to accommodate the Genesis-Witton fixture.
