Central defender Tony Rendell joined Leigh Genesis on 15th October 2010 from Evo-Stik League Division One North rivals Cammell Laird.

Rendell made his full Leigh Genesis league debut in a 1-1 draw with Chester at the Exacta Stadium on Saturday 16th October 2010, going on to make seven appearances for the club before joining league rivals Prescot Cables.
