Radcliffe game postponed

Leigh Genesis have confirmed that Monday's Evo-Stik League First Division North encounter with Radcliffe Borough has been postponed.
With snow still lying on the ground from several weeks ago and temperatures struggling to get in to positive figures for just as long, it was perhaps inevitable that the Bank Holiday fixture would be postponed.
Weather permitting, Leigh's next fixture is now away to AFC Fylde on New Years Day (3pm kick off) before Wakefield are scheduled to be the visitors to Crilly Park two days later in another Bank Holiday clash (Monday 3rd January, 3pm).
A new date for the meeting with Radcliffe will be announced in due course.

Hardly shock of the year. Wouldn't expect the next two to go ahead either but you never know.
